Join us for a nourishing, hands-on afternoon exploring gut health, fermentation, and simple practices that support long-term wellbeing.
Dee and her partner Kerri from Goodness Me by Dee will share their journey into learning about gut health — how curiosity around microbes, fermentation, and whole foods transformed their health and gradually became their way of life. What they share comes from lived experience, practical learning, and a genuine desire to support others on their wellbeing journeys.
Our gut bacteria play a vital role in digestion, immunity, hormone balance, and detoxification. In fact, healthy gut microbes are responsible for around 50% of the body’s detox processes. Fermented foods like sauerkraut help nourish these beneficial bacteria, supporting the body in natural and accessible ways.
This interactive workshop is designed to build confidence and understanding, without overwhelm. Dee and Kerri will break down gut health in a clear, practical way and guide you through making your own sauerkraut to take home.
You’ll enjoy a relaxed afternoon with time for kōrero and questions, along with afternoon tea. As an exciting extra, you’ll also get to sample Dee’s homemade water kefir — a refreshing, gut-supporting fermented drink.
