Saturday 8th Nov – Learn How To Create Compost!

🌿 Turn Household Waste into Healthy Soil! 🌱

Come and learn the art (and science!) of composting — transforming your everyday home and garden scraps into living, nutrient-rich soil food. This hands-on workshop will guide you through simple, effective composting methods you can use at home to reduce waste, build soil health, and grow stronger, more vibrant plants.

Why Compost?

Compost isn’t just “rotting food” — it’s a living ecosystem! A healthy compost heap teems with beneficial microbes, fungi, and insects that work together to break down organic matter. These tiny life forms feed the soil, improve structure, and boost plant growth naturally — no chemicals needed!

Did you know?

One teaspoon of healthy compost can hold more microorganisms than there are people on Earth!
Composting can reduce household waste by up to 50%.
Compost adds life back into the soil, supporting earthworms and the entire underground web that sustains our gardens.
